Hot Shot is a lovely 2016 registered Premium German Oldenburg colt born. He was selected as a Foal of Distinction and a Stallion Prospect at his German Oldenburg inspection. He has a correct, strong conformation with straight legs and good angles. He has an extremely elegant and refined head and very good uphill neck connection. His walk is fluid and large, his trot has good reach and articulation and his canter is large and active. He has a rich mahogany bay coat. Based upon his current size and size of his siblings he should mature 16.2+hh or larger.

Hot Shot is sired by the imported Elite Hanoverian stallion Harvard (Hohenstein x Cardinal xx) who is a proven sire of excellence. His legacy is quickly establishing in Europe and North America. Harvard has produced multiple Licensed sons, numerous State Premium, Special Premium and Premium Mares, Elite Auction Foals, a Bundeschampion, a finalist at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses, successful International Advanced Dressage competitors, high scoring Oldenburg mares, in 2008 he dam-sired the Champion Filly of Germany, Foals of Distinction, Top Hanoverian Foals and legions of Premium Foals. A strong transmitter of type, Harvard’s are stamped with his elegant head and convey his kind, sensible disposition. Harvard is a very modern type and sire of talented dressage and hunter progeny. One of his greatest hallmarks is the wonderful temperament that he passes on to his offspring. At his performance test in 1999 he scored a perfect 10 for temperament and 9's for character, willingness and ability to work, constitution and rideability. In the 2010 Jahrbuch Hengst, Harvard is given an impressive overall index of 134 and a FN ranking of 136!

Hot Shot's dam Verb.Pr.St. Sudorme (Dormello x Donnerschwee) has made multiple lovely offspring and successful sport horses to date. Sudorme features interesting line breeding to dressage great Donnerhall and in 2014 a dressage gelding out of a (Dormello x Donnerschwee) mare broke the world record when he sold for the price of 2.8 million Euros.
