Happy Hour PF

2011 German Oldenburg Gelding

Bay, 16.2hh, White Blaze and Four White Socks

Happy Hour is a lovely four year old registered Premium German Oldenburg gelding. Happy is a pleasure to work with and be around as he has an extremely friendly personality. He is full of talent and shows great promise as a dressage horse. He has an extremely elegant and refined head and very good uphill neck connection. His walk is fluid and large, his trot has good reach and articulation and his canter is large and active. He has a white blaze and four white socks and has a beautiful mahogany bay coat. Based upon his current size and size of his parents he should finish maturing at 16.2hh or larger.

Happy Hour is sired by the imported Elite Hanoverian stallion Harvard (Hohenstein x Cardinal xx) who is a proven sire of excellence. His legacy is quickly establishing in Europe and North America. Harvard has produced multiple Licensed sons, numerous State Premium, Special Premium and Premium Mares, Elite Auction Foals, a Bundeschampion, a finalist at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses, successful International Advanced Dressage competitors, high scoring Oldenburg mares, in 2008 he dam-sired the Champion Filly of Germany, Foals of Distinction, Top Hanoverian Foals and legions of Premium Foals. A strong transmitter of type, Harvard’s are stamped with his elegant head and convey his kind, sensible disposition. Harvard is a very modern type and sire of talented dressage and hunter progeny. One of his greatest hallmarks is the wonderful temperament that he passes on to his offspring. At his performance test in 1999 he scored a perfect 10 for temperament and 9's for character, willingness and ability to work, constitution and rideability. In the 2010 Jahrbuch Hengst, Harvard is given an impressive overall index of 134 and a FN ranking of 136!

Happy Hour’s dam Pr.St. Felice (Florencio I x Dormello) is a gorgeous imported daughter of World Champion Florencio I. She has three wonderful gaits, a happy, calm disposition and a wonderful elegance. Her sire Florencio I (Florestan x Weltmeyer) is an exceptional stallion who became World Champion of Young Dressage Horses where he scored an amazing total of 9.8. He then went on to successfully compete at Advanced Level in dressage. Felice’s dam Verb.Pr.St. Sudorme (Dormello x Donnerschwee) foaled her in Germany at Gestut Kathmann's where she was the top Premium foal at her large inspection. Sudorme features interesting line breeding to dressage great Donnerhall and in 2014 a dressage gelding out of a (Dormello x Donnerschwee) mare broke the world record when he sold for the price of 2.8 million Euros at auction. Felice was awarded Premium Mare Status and the Mare of Distinction title by the German Oldenburg Verband at her Mare Inspection in 2011 receiving impressive straight 8's on her head, conformation, sex type, elasticity and impulsion at the trot and walk! She has produced two full younger siblings to Happy Hour who are also Premium foals and excellent dressage prospects.
